Shahid Kapoor’s Kids Will Not See His Madame Tussauds Statue; Actor Explains The Reason For It
Shahid Kapoor's first wax figure was unveiled at Madame Tussauds, Singapore. The actor however, states that he won't show the statue to his kids, Misha and Zain. Here's why
The long wait is over! Shahid Kapoor’s first-ever wax statue at Madame Tussauds was unveiled this morning in Singapore. The actor struck the exact pose as his wax statue, creating confusion for the on-lookers because the resemblance of the figure to the real Sasha, is uncanny.
The actor was accompanied by his wife Mira, who also shared a picture on social media posing between the reel and real Shahid and we even loved her caption that read, “Taking mine home but left one for you Madam”
While, we’re all impressed by the final outcome, people are also keen to know the reaction of his little munchkins, Misha and Zain. Speaking to Hindustan Times, the actor said, “All of them had a genuine reaction of happiness and surprise. As for Misha and Zain, we don’t plan to take them for the unveiling of the statue. Otherwise they may think, ‘wow, what just happened?’ as it could be a traumatic experience for them to see two dads (laughs). So, only Mira will join me.”
So, it’s going to take some years, when the kids grow up and see their father’s wax statue. On the work front, the actor is geared up for his upcoming film Kabir Singh, the official trailer was recently unveiled. His dialogue “Nahin aaunga matlab nahin aaunga” even started a meme fest. At the trailer launch, the actor was asked about life after break-ups and he replied, “Aap mile honge mujhse iss phase mein meri life ke. Farak sirf itna tha ki main clean-shaven rehta tha. Toh dil mein mere kya ho raha hai woh pata nahi chalta tha. Dil toh sabka tootta hai and I think Kabir Singh ke level tak koi nahi le jaata. There are very few people who take it to that level. That’s why probably he is a character that you would want to watch a film about because he is so different and so new. But of course, when heart breaks you don’t like anything. It feels like you’re watching a black-and-white movie. Life becomes colourless. But then, you have to get over it and move on.”
